The success of continuing education programs depend on the ability to respond to the changing demands of our students, business and industry partners, and policy makers. The focus of the conference will be to provide attendees tools to succeed in the changing landscape of Continuing Education. Presentations will provide attendees the skills and content needed to build, lead, and implement successful continuing education and workforce programs. In addition to presentations on grants, WECM, contract training, and community programs, the planning committee is seeking innovative presentations on:
Auditing Preparation Personal Enrichment
Strategic Planning Marketing
Healthcare Summer Camps
Program Learning Outcomes Budgeting
Strategies on how to link to your College's mission and goals
Strategies to increase revenue, enrollment, and contact hours.
Workforce/Economic Development topics with a business partner
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION
All conference presentations must provide high quality and comprehensive professional development for continuing education college administrators and workforce programs.
Presenters are encouraged to provide information that attendees can implement at their college or in their service area. Presenters are encouraged to use innovative presentation styles.
Please include in your presentation specific insight as to how your topic:
* Complements the conference focus.
* Provides innovative strategies, best practices, and program results that are applicable to the attendees.
TYPES OF PRESENTATIONS
Breakouts sessions are 60 minutes in length. Please ensure your information is concise and tangible allowing attendees the opportunity to retrieve and implement at their institution. Audience size may vary from 30 to 50 people.
Round table sessions emphasize energetic discussion between the presenter(s) and participants about a central topic. Presenters will be asked to introduce the topic or issue, and then open the discussion for an exchange ideas and feedback among participants. Presenters will facilitate the discussion. Round tables are excellent opportunities for giving and receiving feedback, engaging in in-depth discussions, and meeting colleagues with similar interests.

Each breakout session will be equipped with LCD projector and laptop.
Internet will not be provided in the breakout rooms. DVDs must be played on a laptop provided by presenter.
Presentations by a sponsor or for-profit consultants must include at least one TACE member as a co-presenter.
